Holiday mini-sessions at Ultimate Play Zone in Cockeysville!

Announcing the holiday mini-sessions at Ultimate Play Zone in Cockeysville! One day only, November 11 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., I will be doing some "very merry" mini-sessions for your children in their holiday or winter wear (kids only, please. One time-slot per household. Limit three children per session.)

Contact Ultimate Play Zone 410-628-7529 to set up an appointment. There is no session fee (admittance fee for the Ultimate Play Zone is $10 per child for BOTH open play and a reserved photo session for kids 18 months and older). Packages start at $25.

Jack and Claire, Baltimore baby and sibling portraits

Claire and Jack are the children of a childhood friend of mine and so absolutely adorable! Miss Claire was such a little lady, but truly, she was in it for the promise of a cookie as her reward. Jack, well, Jack played along as long as he could!

(and, I am thinking maybe I need to re-think my wardrobe advice about nothing with lots of pattern...because THIS dress worked!)

Myles, and his entourage... baby and family portraits Baltimore

Baby Myles and his entourage paid me a visit this week. At five months, he's totally sweet and so smoochable! And his big brother and sister were awesome to photograph, too. I love my babies, but sometimes it's nice to work with subjects who don't drool!

Bestill my heart, children's photo session Baltimore

I have to admit I have a soft place in my heart for blond little boys with huge blue eyes...this little fella was as busy as he was cute, but he has these two wonderful big sisters who were so patient and sweet, and they helped make the session a great success! Thanks girls!

Tessie, Red Sox Baby

Tessie was so squeezable and sweet! Her daddy is a huge Boston Red Sox fan (thus her name) so we had to do a few things as a nod to the team...

Beautiful family...family portrait session

This family was so much fun! Their mom, MaryBeth, is a wonderful childbirth doula who helped us when our baby was born. I hadn't seen her since then (hard to beleive it's been almost a year) so it was so much fun to have her and her family in the studio last week!

"The Pacifier Pucker," Baltimore newborn portraits

The majority of this shoot was photographed doing the "pacifer pull." At eight days old, Baby Noah here loves his paci more than just about anything! So I'd ready my camera, and then mom or dad would pull the pacifier out just long enough for me to get a few shots. This session is also noteworthy in that, due to a last-minute childcare crisis, my own baby was my "assistant" - riding on my back as I photographed this wee one. Noah's mom and dad were very patient throughout -- and in the end, it all worked out just fine!

A few things in common...Baltimore newborn photographer

Miss Hanna here has quite a few things in common with my own baby girl. They were born in the same hospital and had pretty much exactly the same health issues at birth and now both are lovely, healthy and strong -- oh, and they both have mommas who are photographers!

I'm so happy to post these! There is nothing better than showing off great images after a challenging session where the parents have left wondering if we "got" anything! She was two, she was sweet, she was smart as a whip, and she was not into being photographed, but that's what makes images like these all the better!

Halloween sessions at Ultimate Play Zone in Cockeysville

My October is completely booked for regular sessions but I'll be doing Halloween mini-sessions at The Ultimate Play Zone in Cockeysville Tuesday, October 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. I'll be offering special pricing with packages starting at $25. The slots are filling quickly! To save a slot for your little monster (or princess!), you'll need to call The Ultimate Play Zone at 410-628-PLAY. These are for your costumed kids only, up to three kids (from one household) per session. Multiple children from one household will be given one timeslot only. So come bring the kids in their costumes and then let them bounce til their hearts' content!
